St Peter & St Paul's is the parish church of the historic town of Buckingham.  You will find us up on Castle Hill and will see the spire soaring up above the skyline as you approach the town from every direction.  Despite having been here for hundreds of years, we try to offer a broad range of services from the traditional through to the very informal as we are an all-age, enthusiastic and warm-hearted local church made up of people from a wide spectrum of life.  Our 8am Sunday service which takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays is from the Book of Common Prayer. At 9.30am we have a contemporary service with band-led music, age-specific children's groups (0-11) and inspiring adult teaching. Our 11.15 service is traditional with a sung Eucharist on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays and a Morning Worship service on the 1st Sunday.  At 3pm on the second Sunday of each month in term time there is Messy Church which is a way to explore the Christian faith in a very informal atmosphere, with plenty for the kids to join in with. Finally, at 6pm we have another informal service which is usually led by a band.

We seek to teach, understand and follow the whole message of the Bible which shows us how to be reconnected with God, the most vital need for everyone in our modern world.  Our desire to share this message goes into our community, schools, University and local villages.

We seek to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in all our services and Bible teaching is always a key ingredient of our meetings.

We are seeking to grow the church in depth, in outreach and in size and God is blessing us with answered prayers.

Why not come and see us and find out how God is moving?  You will find a warm welcome.
